Fish Kites

The simple act of making paper kites is a way to invite people to identify with fish, and consider the health of local creeks, watersheds, and water bodies.

Individuals are welcomed to draw their own fish form, the kites are flown together on poles, and in procession through local waterways. Each grouping of fish kites becomes a kind of temporary animated sculptural installation.
